See the best of western England on this small-group day trip that combines a trip to Stonehenge with visits to Neolithic Avebury Stone Circle and the Cotswolds’ village of Lacock

Sunset Inner Circle of Stonehenge

Be one of the few people who are granted special access inside the inner stone circle of Stonehenge before it opens to the public (as regular entry tickets only allow you to walk along the path that circles the outside of the stones). This tour is run by our expert guides, is usually limited to private groups of 30 people at a time, and is an unforgettable experience for true Stonehenge, Neolithic, pagan or history enthusiasts.

We also visit Avebury, a small village with lesser-known Neolithic stone circles situated close to Stonehenge. We will have a walking tour and then the opportunity to explore the village of Avebury or have a pint at the famous thatched / haunted Red Lion Pub (Beer is not included). Enjoy a guided walk and some free time at the largest stone circle in Britain before our return to London. We will also see Silbury Hill & West Kennet Long Barrow, other important, mysterious Neolithic sites in the area.

VISIT LACOCK VILLAGE
Spend time exploring the delightful village of Lacock in the scenic Cotswolds. Untouched by modern hands, this charming place has been used in many films, such as Cranford, Pride and Prejudice and the Harry Potter movies. Maybe enjoy a pint in one of the historic pubs or afternoon tea and cake.

We offer a range of pick-up points located in central & west London, all of which are easy to reach by public transport. You can choose to meet us at whichever pick-up point is most convenient for you.

TOUR RETURNS:
11.00PM - London Drop-Offs
There will be 2-3 drop-offs in central London subject to traffic & other considerations on the day. Our tour guide will advise the specific drop-off locations and will be happy to help with public transport advice if needed. Please note that there can be some traffic travelling back into central London & all itinerary times are approximate & subject to change.
